avalanche

Avalanche is a testing binary capable of generating metrics that can be
either scraped via Prometheus scrape formats (including OpenMetrics) endpoint,
or written via Prometheus Remote Write to a target endpoint.

This allows load testing services that can scrape (e.g. Prometheus,
OpenTelemetry Collector), as well as services accepting data via Prometheus
remote_write API such as Thanos, Cortex, M3DB and VictoriaMetrics.

This is an unofficial snap which builds and re-packs the source provided by
the Prometheus community
