Checksums App

This application will calculate SHA-256 and SHA-512 checksums of your file.
Then verify those checksums with checksums stored at https://checksums.app. https://checksums.app contains a collection of sha256 and sha512 for popular software applications.
Please send me an email, if checksums for software that you want to verify is not available.

Your files will not be uploaded to server.
Only SHA-256, SHA-512 and file name of selected file will be sent to https://checksums.app for verification.

Bug Fixes and Features in v1.1.1.0

1. Fixed. Displayed result was wrong when SHA 512 matched and SHA 256 did not match and vice-versa.

 For example if SHA 512 matched and SHA 256 did not match, this application will say SHA 512 matched.

 But does not say SHA 256 did not match.

2. Fixed. Did not verify files, when file name had characters such as +, which are URL encoded.
3. Fixed. Ubuntu secret store was not unlocked when Ubuntu logged in user had auto login enabled.

 This impacted only users who needed to log in to checksums.app to verify there private files.

 It is not necessary to log in to verify public file checksums, available at checksums.app.
