Crow

crow keeps a short, rotating, programmer-flavored quote pinned to the
bottom line of your terminal while you work — through commands, output,
and resizes — without touching your scrollback.

Add one line to your shell rc file to turn it on:

eval "$(crow init bash)" # or: eval "$(crow init zsh)"

Quotes are bundled with the snap and picked deterministically per day,
so crow works fully offline with no network access.
