Instant file search for Linux, a fast Everything alternative

File Minnow is an instant file search app for Linux. It indexes your file and
folder names once, keeps the index up to date in real time, and finds files as
you type, across millions of files, in milliseconds.

- Instant results on every keystroke, with a live index (inotify)
- Everything-style search syntax: AND, | (OR), ! (NOT), wildcards, ext:, size:,
dm:, dc:, path:, regex:, dupe:, empty:, parent:, child:, content: and type
filters such as pic: and doc:
- Accent- and case-insensitive search
- Native GTK interface, global hotkey and tray icon
- Bookmarks, search history, custom filters, export to CSV, preview pane
- Removable drives stay searchable while unplugged

The snap is confined: it can search your home folder and, after snap connect file-minnow:removable-media, drives under /media and /mnt.
Hidden files directly inside your home folder (such as ~/.config) are not
readable by snaps. For whole-system search and your file manager's custom
right-click actions, use the .deb or the portable archive from GitHub.
