If you have troubles with connecting external storages or removable media, please reinstall the app in devmode. This will make OS less strict and allow app to recognize external drives properly. Please enter the following commands in the Terminal:

snap remove speedy-duplicate-finder

snap install speedy-duplicate-finder --devmode
