Simple Video Converter is a high-performance, secure, and offline GUI frontend for FFmpeg, designed to make video conversion easy and fast.

The application is equipped with a unique Intelligent Adaptive Engine featuring two distinct embedded conversion pipelines:

• Engine 8.1 (High Performance): Used for recent hardware and the latest graphics drivers.

• Engine 7.1 (Maximum Compatibility): Used as an automatic fallback to ensure hardware acceleration remains perfectly operational, even on older configurations.

 The system automatically analyzes your hardware at startup and selects the most efficient engine with zero user intervention.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Accessing External Drives (USB / Secondary Drives)

By default, the strict security confinement prevents the app from reading your USB sticks or external hard drives. If your videos are stored on removable media, you must grant access by running this command once in your terminal:
