The Force Engine

Usage Instructions

1. Install the snap
2. Purchase the original Dark Forces from GOG
3. Download an offline installer for Dark Forces for Windows
4. Open terminal and run: the-force-engine.import-gog-data ~/Downloads/setupstarwarstmdarkforces1.0.2\(20338\).exe
5. Run *The Force Engine* from the the graphical shell.

Relevant Directories

The game will look for a copy of *Dark Forces* in the directory ~/snap/the-force-engine/common/DarkForces. If you have a physical copy of the came, please copy
all the game files there. The directory is auto-detected if DARK.GOB is present there.
